I had a key role in the launch and operational design of the new DHL CPH hub. I led the successful launch and full commissioning of the modern DHL hub at Copenhagen Airport (CPH), a key strategic infrastructure project for the Nordic region. My involvement was comprehensive, including high-level operational design, implementation of end-to-end processes, and building the core team, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition. My primary contribution focused on the development and implementation of key operational processes that define the facility's workflow. I was directly responsible for designing and formalizing central operating procedures, turning the hub's strategic requirements into actionable, world-class operational standards. This included a significant role in developing and implementing all new processes at the facility, setting the foundation for long-term productivity and service reliability that exceeded initial project metrics. Additionally, I took a leading role in building the human capital framework necessary for the hub's success. This involved recruiting and mentoring the specialized core team, ensuring that staff were thoroughly trained and aligned with the newly introduced processes and the high-stakes environment of a large international cargo hub. My commitment went beyond technical and procedural aspects; I ensured a proactive and focused transition to the new facility, reducing risks and maintaining operational continuity throughout the change period. This comprehensive oversight—from conceptual design and process implementation to team formation and successful transition—was essential for the facility's successful debut and its immediate contribution to DHL's network strength. This experience demonstrates a proven capacity for leadership in complex, high-value projects, with a strong emphasis on operational excellence, systemic process design, and effective team building in a dynamic global logistics environment.
